The Covestro Sample Lab highlights the most important solutions from Covestro in a new environment. Makers, inventors, engineers and designers alike, are enabled to experience the full range of materials through beautiful design during their creation process. When launching the app the user is faced with a spontaneous decision between ‘Lookbook’ and ‘Playground’. While ‘Lookbook’ works as a catalogue for product selection, ‘Playground’ is a creative exploration of materials in an abstract manner.


Via Lookbook’s integrated filter-function the user can concretely discover the available materials and their features for boutique planning of their products and projects. Covestro’s physical material samples can be further informed via an in-app QR code scanner, allowing the opportunity to analyse the benefits first hand. Slide, push, and swipe within the Playground’s visual environment to interact with the tangibility of Covestro materials digitally, in a completely new dimension.
